Kettlethorpe pupils prove a welcome company
Over the last ten weeks a small group of mainly Year 10 girls have been taking part in an intergenerational project with the charity Spectrum people.
The girls have learnt how to do manicures and hand massages and then taken the skills learned to a local residential home in Kettlethorpe and practised these skills on the residents. The program has been very successful for both the pupils and the elderly. So much so, that a party has been organised at the residential home to recognise the girls’ support and enthusiasm they put into this scheme.
Huge well done goes to Shannon, Hope, Jade, Amal, Darcie, Sakina and Caitlyn!
