Counselling

Whilst as a school we believe in primary intervention being key to building childrens self-esteem, resilience and promoting positive wellbeing, at times children may need a higher form of support in the way of talking therapies. If this is an avenue you wish to explore, we recommend you look on the BACP website for Counsellors and Psychotherapists that are part of a professional body.
Every Friday, a counsellor visits school and can be seen by appointment only. Appointments can be booked by contacting Miss Emmerson on bemmerson@nullkettlethorpe.wakefield.sch.uk.

Wellbeing Ambassadors

Who are Wellbeing Ambassadors?
They are a member of staff available to support you if you need to speak to someone or have any worries.
How do I know who is a wellbeing ambassador?
There is a display next to the Tuck shop which shows you which members of staff are wellbeing ambassadors. Each member of staff will be wearing a purple lanyard.
