We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and ambitious Teacher of Music to join our successful school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to combine excellent classroom practice with a TLR 2A leadership responsibility for performing arts, encompassing drama and dance. Our school is a Lead School for music in the West Yorkshire area, with both GCSE music cohort numbers and outcomes well above national averages. We have a suite of 5 practice rooms and host 6 visiting instrumental teachers from Wakefield Music Services.

The successful candidate will teach music across Key Stages 3 and 4 while assisting the Team Leader for Performing Arts in driving the development of performing arts, promoting high standards of teaching and learning, increasing student participation and coordinating a vibrant programme of performances, productions and enrichment activities.

· is an excellent Teacher of Music with strong subject knowledge and high practical skill level on an instrument or voice.

· must have proficient keyboard skills. The ability to accompany GCSE performance exams is highly desirable.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and inspiring Librarian & Literacy Learning Support professional to lead our Learning Resource Centre (LRC) and play a key role in promoting a culture of reading across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who believes in the power of reading to transform lives and who enjoys working directly with young people to develop their literacy, confidence and love of learning.

The successful candidate will manage and develop our Learning Resource Centre as a vibrant, welcoming and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students have access to a diverse and engaging range of resources. They will lead initiatives to promote reading for pleasure, organise author visits and literacy events, support targeted literacy interventions, and work closely with colleagues to raise reading standards across the school.

The role also includes supporting students with literacy and EAL needs, training student librarians and reading ambassadors, running enrichment activities such as book clubs and reading challenges, and contributing to wider school initiatives including student induction and baseline assessments for new starters.
