Kettlethorpe High School’s Kindness Charter

Over the last term, pupils and staff have been discussing kindness at school and have all contributed to Kettlethorpe High School’s Kindness Charter. The joint charter describes the behaviours we all want to see in school to make the school a better place. Pupils have been looking at the charter in PSHE sessions and in assemblies to explore and agree what it is we value and want to see in each other. The five principles of the charter have been suggested and agreed by pupils covering being compassionate to others, valuing everyone – even if they are different to us and using kind and respectful actions and language.
