Inspiring Women in STEM
In collaboration with Education and Employers, we proudly present two engaging virtual interactive careers webinars crafted exclusively for Key Stages 3 and 4 during National Careers Week. Join us as we showcase and celebrate the boundless creativity and diversity inherent in apprenticeships and technical education, specifically within the dynamic realms of creative and engineering sectors, with a special focus on highlighting the contributions of women in STEM.

InvestIN’s student event series is designed to give students aged 12-18 a snapshot of what it’s like to work in their dream profession. Events are run by leading experts and are free to attend. More information via this PDF or their WEBSITE.

  • Career Zones. Check out the 33 Career Zones on their website to learn about the industries you could go into, the different roles available in them, plus how to train for your dream job. Link:
  • Types of apprenticeships. Make sure you know the four apprenticeship levels, the entry requirements, qualifications you could gain and the kinds of roles you could go into. Link:

Step into the NHS

Meet NHS staff during their virtual Step into the NHS Day on Tuesday 5 March.It’s no secret that exposure to working professionals gives pupils a head start in thinking about their futures. The Step into the NHS Day presents them with the unique opportunity to ask NHS staff questions, hear about different careers and develop job-seeking skills. Register interest HERE.

British Army

They have lots of resources packed with bitesized information to showcase lesser-known Army roles, such as musician, cyber engineer and chef, alongside Army apprenticeships, bursaries and scholarships opportunities to pupils.
