Kettlethorpe hosted the U13 Wakefield District netball tournament with 21 teams attending from Cathedral, Ackworth, Ossett, St Thomas a Becket, Castleford, Crofton, Kings, Wakefield Girls, Silcoates, Freeston, Horbury, City Fields, Carlton, Outwood and St Wilfrid’s.

We have had 2 teams who played really well, in fact the A team finished 2nd after narrowly missing out in the final to Wakefield Girls. In 1st round they played Ossett and won 11-0, STAB won 7-1, Ackworth won 6-4, Cathedral won 8-2. In the quarter final they beat Kings 2-1. In the semi final they beat Wakefield Girls 4-1 but unfortunately lost 11-2 to them in the final. Well done girls, this was an impressive performance.
