PE Kit

To ensure all students are dressed appropriately for Physical Education lessons, the following PE kit requirements must be adhered to:

Compulsory Kit:
  • Kettlethorpe games outdoor top – quarter zip | Crew neck sports top
  • Crew neck sports top
  • Navy blue shorts/skorts (These must be the appropriate fit and have a loose-fitting style. Nike pro shorts or cycling shorts are not part of PE kit. Black shorts are not to be worn for PE lessons)
  • White sports socks OR Navy-blue knee-high socks (No black socks)
Footwear:
  • Boots: Football boots can be worn for outdoor lessons where appropriate (e.g. football and rugby lessons). Boots should have studs or moulds suitable for grass and the 3G.
  • Trainers: Trainers will be needed for most lessons and specifically indoor lessons (e.g. sports hall or gymnasium use). Converse style footwear is not permitted for PE lessons.
Tracksuit Bottoms & Leggings (Optional):
  • Plain navy-blue tracksuit bottoms may be worn, however, shorts or skorts must always be brought to each lesson.
  • Sports leggings may be worn, however, they need to be sporting leggings as opposed to everyday leggings or flared style. These can be black or navy blue; however, from September 2027, all pupils will be required to wear navy blue leggings, as black leggings will no longer be permitted. Leggings may feature a small branded logo, but styles with large stripes or prominent branding down the sides are not allowed.
General Requirements:
Participation: All students are expected to participate in PE lessons unless a doctor’s note or a parental note is provided. In the case of medical conditions, students will still be expected to bring their PE kit and actively engage in alternative roles (e.g., refereeing, coaching, or observing and analysing).
