PE Kit

To ensure all students are dressed appropriately for Physical Education lessons, the following PE kit requirements must be adhered to:

Compulsory Kit:

1. Kettlethorpe Reversible Hockey/ Rugby Top

2. Plain White Polo Shirt

3. Navy Blue Shorts or Skort

o Only navy blue shorts or skorts are allowed for all PE lessons. These must be the appropriate fit and have a loose fitting style. Nike pro shorts or cycling shorts are not part of PE kit. Black shorts are not to be worn for PE lessons.

4. Navy Blue Knee-Length Socks (for outdoor use)

5. White Sports Socks (for indoor use)

6. Footwear:

  • Boots: Football boots can be worn for outdoor lessons where appropriate (e.g., football and rugby lessons). Boots should have studs or moulds suitable for grass and the 3G.
  • Trainers: Trainers will be needed for most lessons and specifically indoor lessons (e.g., sports hall or gymnasium use). Converse style footwear are not permitted for PE lessons.

7. Tracksuit Bottoms & Leggings (Optional during Winter)

  • Plain navy blue tracksuit bottoms may be worn during the winter months for outdoor lessons. However, shorts or skorts must always be brought to each lesson.
  • Sports leggings are allowed in the winter months and need to be sporting leggings as opposed to everyday leggings. These can be black or navy blue due to the accessibility of navy-blue sports leggings. These can have a small logo branding on but cannot have large stripes down the sides.

General Requirements:

Participation: All students are expected to participate in PE lessons unless a doctor’s note or a parental note is provided. In the case of medical conditions, students will still be expected to bring their PE kit and actively engage in alternative roles (e.g., refereeing, coaching, or observing and analysing).
