This year to celebrate British Science week in school, we held events for Year 7, 8 and 9 over a two week period. This years theme was ‘Connections’ with Year 7 and 8 focusing on the ocean with a deep dive(… get it!!!) on plastics and pollution. Year 9 were looking at connections internally in the body.

Lessons have been based around these themes with classes creating posters to be entered into a nationwide competition (details here). We had Medical Mavericks Interactive Senses Show last week and this week, the Amazing Silly Science Show presented two shows to both Year 7 and 8.
