A selection of pupils in Year 8 were given the opportunity last week to visit The Deep in Hull. Pupils had the chance to walk around and view all the exciting aquatic life and enjoy all the interactive exhibits on display.

After the walk round the building and a peruse of the gift shop, pupils were invited to a 1 hour talk from one of the educators at the centre on plastics in the ocean. Pupils were informed about the different types of plastic and which eventually can be recycled but which types cannot and the dangers of these heading into our oceans and the damage caused to wildlife and the planet.

Overall a very interesting and informative trip for Year 8, all pupils represented the school well. Well done, Year 8!
