Year 11 NCS Assembly

On Friday 5 May, Year 11 pupils had an assembly from NCS (National Careers Service) regarding opportunities over the Summer.

The NCS Experience is a 5-day residential in Castleton, Derbyshire Peak District and is worth £1200, however, is heavily subsidised by the government requiring a maximum contribution of £95. NCS is completely free to those that are:

• Eligible for free school meals
• On an EHCP
• In or have recently left care
• A young carer
• Living in a household that is in receipt of Universal Credit

Year 11 pupils will have the opportunity to improve team building and other life skills. Pupils were given flyers and letters, all of which can be clicked on and downloaded below.
